Every year, Modesto City Schools, like all California school districts, is required to prepare a three-year plan known as the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP does three main things:
- Defines the district's goals
- Describes how MCS will support student outcomes
- Guides budgeting priorities for the upcoming year
The LCAP process is YOUR opportunity to let us know what is important to you and your school. It also provides an opportunity to discuss how to improve support for our foster youth, English learners, and low-income students to ensure each and every child receives the high-quality education they deserve. We want to hear from you!
